Even though Rick Grimes is no longer a part of The Walking Dead, well just on the show at least, his presence is still very much felt at this point in the story. At the beginning of season 9, Rick Grimes worked closely with the other communities to achieve balance and trust between them in order to have a brighter future. After coming out of a war with the Saviors, Rick held onto Carl’s dream for helping everyone come together in order to pave the way for a better future.
